A powerful tale of women, immigration and survival. 


Written in 1982, TEA has been produced continuously over the last 38 years.
Presented as part of Hero Theatre's ongoing commitment to usher great works by underrepresented artists into the classic American cannon.

Tea Tickets

TWO COMPANIES. TWICE THE CHANCE TO JOIN US FOR TEA.

TEA is comprised of a cast of five women. Two separate company of actors will be performing in repertory.
​Never before done at Hero Theatre!​
Company A performs:
Thursday, May 12th at 8pm
Friday, May 13th at 8pm
Saturday, May 14th at 8pm
Sunday May 15th at 7pm


Company B performs:
Sunday, May 15th at 2pm - SOLD OUT


Performances of Tea take place Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. from Saturday, April 23 through Sunday, May 15 (no evening performance on Sunday, April 24 and Sunday, May 1). There will be two previews, on Thursday, April 21 and Friday April 22.

WEARING MASKS
Although the indoor mask mandate has been eased in Los Angeles County, HERO Theatre will require all guests to remain masked, regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be worn over the mouth and nose at all times except while eating or consuming beverages. Masks will be mandatory at all times inside our theaters.

Only these types of masks may be worn: medical/surgical masks, N95, KN95, or KF94. Unacceptable masks include: cloth, neck gaiters, bandanas, and masks with vents. Medical/surgical masks will be provided to patrons if needed.
We will not be social distancing audiences inside of the theaters.
