Hero Theatre's FORNES FUND was created in honor of legendary playwright Maria Irene Fornes— one of the greatest playwrights of all times. Irene was a leading figure of the Off-Off-Broadway movement in the 1960s. Please take a moment to read this article from the New York Times
Proceeds from the fund will help artists cover costs of various medical need.. We are currently dedicated to helping Ms. Fornes.
