All For Irene Medical Fund (AFI)
FESTIVAL IRENE has been a successful event. However, we still need more to continue our support to Irene. If you missed the festival, you can still support by donating to the AFI medical fund.
This medical fund is created in honor of Maria Irene Fornes. Iren who was a leading figure of the Off-Off-Broadway movement in the 1960s has been one of the greatest playwrights. She has been a great teacher to many well-known playwrights.
As for right now, this medical fund is to provide care and service to Maria Irene Fornes who is at her late stages of Alzheimer's disease.
