Comedy and Da Kid: Sketch Comedy and the Writers Table gives 7-10 year olds the chance to build their own sketch comedy show from scratch. They will also have a chance to perform comedy vignettes written for each other. This unique opportunity gives students the freedom to create while doing ensemble work integral to building their own comedy teams.

Classes taught by Hero Theatre's own ensemble members. Not to be missed!

The Youth Performance Ensemble at Inner-City Arts

Renown performer, vocal coach and Hero Company member Sayda Trujillo teaches this voice/body intensive, connecting the power of the natural instrument to the works of great writers. Not to be missed!

This intensive voice/body workshop will give each student tools to be able to gain an awareness of what's happening to their body as an instrument and therefore make choices appropriate to the material.  This workshop is beneficial for performers of all disciplines, artist educators and writers alike. Ideal for those curious about exploring and connecting to the power of their voice
